  • Lake Massapoag Information Walk: was held April 24 at Memorial Beach, and again at Sharon Day on October 2. Join the Virtual Lake Info Walk on YouTube.
  • “Citizen Science” Cyanobacteria Training: On May 7 the LMAC held a cyanobacteria training program led by biologists from the field services branch of the Environmental Protection Agency's New England Region 1 team.  We learned about cyanobacteria and how to identify them with a microscope and fluorometer.  View the powerpoint presentation here. 
  • ​Lake Massapoag Cleanup: Saturday, June 11, 8:30AM - 12PM, Memorial Park Beach. Sustainable Sharon Coalition and Neponset River Watershed Association will sponsor a Lake Massapoag cleanup, invasive species removal, and storm drain marker installation.  Registration form for the event will be available starting May 1st.  Assemble at Memorial Park Beach on June 11th at 8:30 AM for check in.  Safety training will be given before small groups are created and assigned to different sectors around the circumference of the lake.  Contact Rory McGregor for additional details: rmcgregor3@aol.com.  Register here.
